What's this- the 3rd trimester already?! A colleague gave us a baby heart beat monitor several weeks ago and last night was the first time we were able to hear her heart beating. What a moment for us! We clocked her at ~150 beats/minute which is normal. We'll try to upload a sound bite for you- but it may be beyond our technical ability!!!

Congratulations Marta! I think you should name the baby Kendra. Or how about Kendelina? Or maybe Kenni (be the first to use this one).
I love your baby blog. I wanted to do one too, but didn't have much incentive. Anyway, keep posting on your progress, but please no details! (I fainted during a film about the stages of pregnancy in high school.) -Cousin Ken
Thanks for the suggestions Ken! We are also considering Kenesia and Kenderella.
Owen's trying to convince me to post a "belly shot". I'll send you a personal warning beforehand- it's not for the faint-hearted!!!
